this morning i stopped in hayes valley to pick up some treats to take to the east bay, and as i walked into la boulange, i noticed this huge white PEACE sign in the middle of the park. i heart it.
it's neat to think about how such a simply designed symbol (and it's sister the two fingered peace sign) have carried such power, meaning and hope throughout several decades.
i also love that i saw this early in the morning before the city was awake.
to me, it is the most peaceful time of day...when all is at ease and fresh to what the day holds.
